FULL   OF   HOTAIR   BAND

Here are photos I took of a CRAZY group of my "STAIRWAY   TO   THE  STARS"  "KARAOKE   NUTS" (we named them the "FULL   OF   HOTAIR   BAND" since they are all crazy & their "instruments" are "inflatables") who helped me with filming a video of my KARAOKE   VERSION of SAWYER   BROWN's "DRIVE  ME  WILD" video. I did all of the costumes, directing, filming, photography, producing, etc. of the video.This video WON a CONTEST that cable TV  station "GAC" (Great American Country) sponsored back in 1999.

My prize was an all expense paid trip to Nashville to film the TV show, "GAC's   TOP  15  COUNTDOWN", with MARK   MILLER from SAWYER   BROWN as my co-host. This was a DREAM   COME   TRUE...I was ON  TV!!!! It wasn't easy...they had no CUE   CARDS, so we had to MEMORIZE our lines. Not only was I nervous about being on TV, but I was TWITTERPATED about sitting next to MARK   MILLER...I had also been sick for over a week & was on medication for my laryngitis.

MARK   MILLER was wonderful...he was so SWEET to me. He spent quite a bit of time, after filming the TV show, to AUTOGRAPH a stack of the photos of our "FULL   OF   HOTAIR   BAND" filming our video, which I brought to show him. I wanted to give the autographed photos to the WONDERFUL  people that helped me win, by being in the video.

Our "STARS" of the video (the "FULL   OF   HOTAIR   BAND") were: JOE   CUPP (as Mark Miller), & as SAWYER   BROWN we had ROB   URQUHART, DONNIE   WEBSTER, WILL   HALL, &  MARK   NICHTING.

We also had many other friends who were "EXTRAS" in the "disco" scenes. I will try to remember all of the names of these WONDERFUL people:Barb Hall, Jenny Webb with her newborn baby Amber Webster, Sharyn Henderson, Glenda Shaw, Cheryl Lowery,Jeremy & Sarah Lydic (they are brother & sister),and Jenny Nichting. I "FORGOT" to get a photo of the "disco" scenes...it was the first scene that I did and I "FORGOT" that I wanted to take pics of EACH scene until AFTER  I had finished videoing and many of the "EXTRAS" had already gone home. My bad !!!!  So, now here are our "STARS" of my winning video.
