          We  are "crazy" DJ’s – We  will  either  play  your  favorite DANCE   MUSIC  or  we  can  provide “KARAOKE”  entertainment . We have  a  HUGE   SELECTION  &  wide  variety  of  music  styles  (genres) to  please “most”  everyone (we strive to keep the songs "CLEAN" for events that have CHILDREN  &  ELDERLY  in attendance) . If  you  want “karaoke”, we  have “over  13,000  different  songs”  (and we add new ones all the time) for  your  guests  to  sing  from . They  can  even  record  an  audio  cassette  of  their  performance . We  offer “disco  ball  lights”, “laser  lights”,  &  “flashing  police  lights”  to  add  to  the atmosphere  if  you  request  them  in  advance.

I  hosted and organized a karaoke contest on Sunday JULY 3rd, 2005, at the 25th ANNIVERSARY  of the annual "ALL  AMERICAN  WEEKEND" festival in Middletown, OH. We called the contest "ALL  AMERICAN  IDOL" .

 

The festival was dedicated to RON  BLEVINS, one of the founders of the "ALL  AMERICAN  WEEKEND"  festival...he had a massive stroke at a planning meeting for last year's festival and died a few days later. He will be missed by many.

 

We had 3 different age groups of competitors:

1-12 yrs. , 13-18 yrs. , and adults

We had to limit the # to 40 contestants total. I  worked hard to get prizes donated from LOCAL businesses . Everyone received something for participating & we  had nice prize packages  & trophies  for the top 3 winners in each age group. Everyone who competed was eligible for a drawing for the GRAND  PRIZE...a drive away vacation donated by WPFB The Rebel, a rental car donated by AVIS  RENT  A  CAR . We were VERY  GRATEFUL to all of the local businesses that helped to SUPPORT our contest and therefore helped us raise funds for MIDDLETOWN  ATHLETIC  BOOSTERS & MIDDLETOWN  MUSICAL  ARTS  DEPT.
